After my studies I started working first as a research technician, then as a breeding manager for the French company Mutatec, which is involved in producing <em>Hermetia illucens<\/em> meal by processing agro-food waste and residues. After 3 years at Mutatec, I moved to Turin, Italy, for a fellowship at the Department of Animal Husbandry. In November 2022, I started my doctoral program entitled: &#8220;Bringing it all together: standardization of research protocols in insect rearing and meeting industry needs.&#8221; My research focuses on improving insect rearing techniques to produce animal feed and standardization of experimental protocols.
