My research activity moves in ecology, specifically in ecotoxicology, where my research is aimed at assessing the presence, the fate and the toxicity of legacy and emerging contaminants in both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. I am person in charge of the courses entitled “Principles of Ecotoxicology” and “Applied Ecology” for Bachelor degree in Environmental Science and Policy, as well as co-person in chief of the course “Method of Ecotoxicology” for the Master degree in Environmental Change and Global Sustainability. My task in the project is related to the assessment of the presence and transfer of contaminants in different matrices, from the growth substrate for insects to trout maintained in aquaculture facility.
